The Washington Nationals are seeking a junior web developer to join our Baseball Research & Development team. The role involves contributing to an internal web application that supports player acquisition decisions and player development processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and deploy new features for our internal web application

Develop responsive frontend interfaces using a combination of Vue + Tailwind, or standard HTML + CSS + JavaScript

Translate mockups and requirements provided by stakeholders into functional user interfaces

Participate in the code review process to ensure code quality and share knowledge

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information science, or related experiences

1+ year of full-time web development experience

Experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue or React, HTML, and CSS

Some experience with relational database systems and SQL

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Ability to write clean, concise, and maintainable code

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Authorized to work in the United States
