Research Scientist - MOVAN
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a Research Scientist for the Biomechanics Research Building. This role involves supervising research teams, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with research protocols.

Responsibilities
Completing internal and external client service contracts, and specialized technical duties for the Biomechanics Research Building
Supervising all research team laboratory technicians, student workers, high schools interns, and assisting with the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students using research laboratories in the Biomechanics Research Building
Overseeing the calibration, maintenance, and installation of all shared equipment in the Biomechanics Research Building amongst seven research laboratories
Submitting purchase requests related to laboratory operation to the MOVANDirector and/or Building Coordinator/Department Chair
Generating and maintaining Institutional Review Board applications and performing audits to ensure adherence to the protocol
Assuring all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, proposing new equipment/services, as well as restocking, ordering, and organizing collection supplies
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise science, engineering or related field
Demonstrated scientific writing ability via peer-review publications or clinical case-reports
Preferred
PhD in biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise science, engineering or related field
