Public Health Sales Associate
NOWDiagnostics is a company focused on public health solutions, and they are seeking a Public Health Sales Associate to manage the early stages of the public health sales pipeline. This role involves qualifying leads, engaging with prospective customers, and supporting the sales team in advancing opportunities.

Responsibilities
Conduct outbound and inbound prospecting to public health agencies and organizations
Qualify and prioritize approximately 200+ existing opportunities currently in Lead Qualification stage
Gather information needed to advance opportunities (timeline, budget status, purchasing pathway, decision makers, sample needs, grant funding status)
Advance qualified opportunities to field/public health sales representatives for follow-up and closing
Work closely with senior public health sales reps to hand off qualified leads
Document findings and update CRM fields accurately and consistently
Maintain regular communication cadence with prospects (email, phone, HubSpot workflows)
Coordinate internally on sample requests, purchase pathways, distributor involvement (if applicable), and next steps
Collaborate with marketing and trade show teams to follow up on conference leads
Track movement and conversion metrics for lead qualification stage performance
Maintain clean records in HubSpot related to lead qualification stages
Support reporting needs for weekly sales pipeline review
Assist with shipment reporting as needed to track customer development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in customer-facing roles, sales operations, account coordination, or related administrative/project support functions
Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and follow-through
Strong communication skills—professional, confident phone and email interactions
Organized and detail-oriented; consistent follow-through on open opportunities
Comfort working in a fast-moving pipeline environment with competing priorities
Problem-solver mindset with willingness to ask clarifying questions and escalate when needed
Preferred
Prior experience supporting a sales team serving public health agencies, government procurement, or healthcare institutions
Experience working within CRM and ERP systems (HubSpot, Business Central, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience with pipeline management or lead qualification workflows
Understanding of procurement cycles for government or public health customers
