Responsibilities

Provide strategic advice and solutions to clients in the private equity industry

Work closely with the Business Insurance and Employee Health and Benefits teams, regional leaders, Producers, and the Due Diligence team

Set the overall vision and strategy of MMA's national private equity services

Proactively grow MMA's private equity footprint

Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis for private equity clients to identify their unique insurance needs and develop comprehensive insurance solutions

Develop strategy, manage complex initiatives and multiple stakeholders, and meet agreed upon goals and outcomes

Interact with senior executives, develop and gain support of a vision and strategy, and operate effectively under pressure

Work collaboratively with carriers

Qualification

Due Diligence experiencePrivate Equity Services knowledgeRisk assessment skillsStrategy developmentMS Office proficiencyInteraction with executivesCollaboration skillsWork under pressure

Required

5+ years of experience in a Due Diligence/Private Equity role, or demonstrated experience with clients considering M&A in an insurance broking context

Extensive knowledge of Transaction liability/ Management Liability/Private Equity Services/Mergers and Acquisitions

Conducting of thorough risk assessments and analysis for private equity clients to identify their unique insurance needs and develop comprehensive insurance solutions

Demonstrated success developing strategy, managing complex initiatives and multiple stakeholders, and meeting agreed upon goals and outcomes

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

Ability to interact with senior executives, develop and gain support of a vision and strategy, and to operate effectively under pressure

Proactive and thoughtful approach and ability to work collaboratively with carriers

Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite

Preferred

MBA, JD, or Master's degree in related field
