As a Senior Commercial Loan Document Specialist, you will prepare loan documents, manage client relationships, and support the Loan Operations team in ensuring seamless financial operations.

Responsibilities

Generates commercial and consumer loan document packages

Ensures loan files are complete and borrower information is up to date with regards to pending loan requests through conducting an independent file review, using established checklists, and working with portfolio assistants or lenders to resolve any errors or omissions

Remit participation payments to correspondent banks, review loan payment activity, and balance respective general ledger and other accounts daily

Correspond with other banks to ensure proper balancing between parties

Complete monthly and quarterly reports for the Board of Directors

Provide backup to the Loan Operations Assistant with respect to their primary responsibilities including loan booking, maintenance, payment processing, and scanning loan documents into document imaging system

Also provides backup to Credit Administration Assistant when needed

Pull credit reports, UCC searches, flood certificates and title work as directed by other bank staff

Provides quality customer service including answering basic customer questions and follow up as needed

Provide additional support to lenders and Credit Department as requested
