Director, Data Intelligence & Analytics
Cambridge Investment Research, Inc. is seeking a Director, Data Intelligence & Analytics who will lead the development and governance of enterprise software and data platforms. This role involves overseeing a team of software developers and engineers to drive strategic impact through modern data architectures and innovative solutions in AI and automation.

Responsibilities
Execute the enterprise strategy for software and data platforms in alignment with business goals
Design scalable and secure systems using modern technologies like .NET, Python, Azure, and cloud-native patterns (e.g., microservices, API-first, real-time data processing)
Champion Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering excellence to accelerate delivery and innovation
Spearhead digital transformation initiatives including cloud migrations, legacy modernization, and automation
Lead the design and implementation of modern data architectures supporting high-volume pipelines, real-time insights, and advanced analytics
Enable AI/ML, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation to enhance decision-making and customer experiences
Leverage tools like Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python to drive meaningful business outcomes
Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams of software engineers and data engineers
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning that embraces experimentation and excellence
Collaborate with business, architecture, and product leaders to deliver impactful solutions that improve operations and unlock new opportunities
Oversee program delivery, vendor partnerships, budgeting, and resource planning to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with enterprise standards
Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, translating complex technical ideas into clear business value and guiding digital priorities
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of leading data-driven initiatives that deliver tangible business results
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
Excitement about the potential of AI, machine learning, and real-time data to transform how companies operate
Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with executives and engineers
Ability to translate complex technical data into clear business insights
Fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and experimentation
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 required within 12 months of being hired
