Responsibilities
Review the linehauls and routes coming into the warehouse
Sort and stage the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers
Reconcile route sheets to ensure they match paperwork, investigate problems that may arise and address and correct any client service concerns
Notify the Operations Manager immediately of all verbal or written inquiries concerning any in-house issues, missing freight, etc. to ensure that contractors are following proper customer procedures to avoid service issues
Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on occasion
Ability to use appliance dollies to unload trailers by hand and then arrange and move appliances around the warehouse
Ability to work overtime if needed
Preferred
Warehouse experience preferred
Forklift Experience or Certification preferred
Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays preferred
