Data Scientist
CACI International Inc is looking for a Data Scientist to enhance the Navy’s F/A-18 fleet readiness by developing case studies and anomaly detection algorithms for aircraft maintenance. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, writing efficient code, and collaborating with various engineering teams.

Responsibilities
Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various aircraft sensors, maintenance logs, and operational data
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and long-term performance of applications
Preform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in aircraft performance and maintenance data
Design and implement anomaly detection algorithms to identify unusual behaviors in aircraft data
Collaborate with Aerospace Engineers, Software Engineers, Maintenance Personnel, and other project stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science
0-2 years of job experience
Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Python
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
US Citizenship
