Responsibilities

Work closely with internal scientists, regulatory experts, and clinical consultants to ensure claims are credible, compliant, and compelling
Translate scientific outcomes into consumer-friendly benefits and messaging frameworks
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers in the industry
Develop and lead the end-to-end commercialization strategy: from early-stage concept validation through launch and post-launch analysis
Define key 'reasons to believe' and positioning strategies that anchor the product in science while resonating with the consumer
Serve as the liaison to marketing, ensuring accurate scientific storytelling, alignment on claims, and impactful execution across campaigns
Partner with Contract Manufacturers (CMOs) to manage product costing, timelines, and scale-up planning
Build launch timelines with clear checkpoints across regulatory, procurement, and marketing
Communicate seamlessly between technical and commercial teams—acting as a trusted voice on both sides
Drive accountability and clarity across stakeholders to maintain momentum and eliminate ambiguity
Represent the commercialization function at the leadership level with direct reporting to the COO

Required

Bachelor's Degree in related field required
8+ years of experience in supplement, food, or wellness product development with clear exposure to both science and commercial functions
Proven experience owning the full commercialization lifecycle—from concept through launch
Comfortable operating with equal fluency in scientific literature, cost modeling, and GTM storytelling
Strong communicator who can build trust and clarity across senior leadership, marketers, and scientists alike
Has a passion for details and enjoys diving into the weeds, while at the same time has the ability to see the big picture by ensuring product launches are commercially successful
Experience working with CMOs and managing supply chain negotiations

Preferred

MBA preferred
Deep understanding of probiotics, enzymes, and fiber preferred
