Oversee complete module design and system integration
Scope new sensor technologies and proof-of-concept opportunities
Define module, system, and feature-level specs
Perform failure mode analysis and root cause diagnosis
Business travel to support production development

Qualification

Mechanical Design experience3D CAD (NX preferred)Statistical tools applicationGD&T familiarityOptical module designFEA techniques familiarityCommunication skillsCollaboration skills

Required

Hands-on Mechanical Design experience
3D CAD experience (NX preferred)
Application of statistical tools and techniques
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse team members and external vendors to define and achieve project goals
Minimum requirement of a bachelors degree

Preferred

Hands-on experience designing for a production environment
High volume, consumer electronics, or sensing experience is a plus
Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance analyses
Experience with optical module design and packaging
Familiarity with FEA techniques and software packages
BS in mechanical engineering or related field
