Responsibilities

Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence and market research to monitor industry trends, emerging competitors, and disruptive technologies impacting consumer banking
Analyze competitor strategies, product launches, pricing, marketing campaigns, and customer experience to identify risks and opportunities for Chase
Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and present to Corporate Development line of business (LOB)/initiative leads, senior leaders, and key stakeholders across the organization
Partner regularly with Corporate Development LOB/initiative leads and cross-functional teams to support strategic planning, business development, and innovation initiatives
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that track key market and competitor metrics
Support ad hoc research requests and deep dives on specific topics, markets, or competitors as needed
Ensure all research and analysis is conducted in accordance with firm policies, controls, and procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, business development strategy, consulting, or related field
Experience formulating business strategy, including structuring problems, completing analysis, and making recommendations
Project management experience in a cross-functional environment
Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations without significant assistance
Deep analytical skills, including understanding of common financial statements and ability to build financial models in Excel
Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal stakeholders
Sense of urgency with disposition to execute and a demonstrated career of successful research and analysis
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred

Financial services/banking experience
Experience with market research tools, databases, and competitive intelligence platforms
