IT Security Technologies Support Technician
Tulsa Airports Improvement Trust is seeking an IT Security Technologies Support Technician to participate in the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical IT systems impacting the safety and security of the airport. The role involves configuring security systems, providing desktop and network support, and assisting with various technical operations to ensure continuous airport functionality.

Responsibilities
Configures and installs security access control boards, panels, badge readers and all associated sensors and parts on doors, gates, and secured areas
Configures and deploys various types of surveillance and security cameras along with all necessary wiring and components
Tier 1 desktop and network support for the airport's common use gates and ticket counters
Install, maintain, route, terminate, label, and troubleshoot copper, fiber optic and other cabling ensuring proper connectivity of various components throughout the property. Knowledge of data and voice cabling
Assists with maintaining, troubleshooting, and replacing all VoIP (Voice over Internet Telephone) telephones and associated components
Assists with the airport public address system including background music and announcements
Maintains operations of Flight Information Displays (FIDS)
Proactively works to assist Operations and Law Enforcement while maintaining critical Airport systems that require 24/7 support
Assists with maintaining various wireless connections
Assists Building Maintenance with maintaining and troubleshooting the integrated fire alarm system and its various components
Assists with maintaining, troubleshooting, and the repairing of airport radios including dispatch console, 800 MHz ground, handheld, and mobile radios maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies that control wireless communications
Assists with audio/video functions such as video recording, microphone/speaker setup, and video editing as needed by the Airport
Troubleshoots and works to resolve issues with exit lane doors and associated equipment used to exit the secure side of the airport
Travels to offsite locations
Operates heavy equipment, lifts, and bucket trucks
Will occasionally be available for on call or able to adjust schedule as 24/7 environment dictates
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis; performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or possession of a General Educational Development Certificate (GED) required
Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic systems
Ability to cleanly and clearly document system installations, adds, moves, and changes as described by supervisor
Desire to learn
Ability to use handheld power tools properly and safely
Ability to perform assignments independently with limited supervision
The ability to utilize the highest level of interpersonal skill to effectively communicate with superiors, other employees, and contractors
Must possess a valid Oklahoma Class “D” Operator's License
Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility to hold a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge
Preferred
Preferable supplemental completion of related (2) year course or certifications
Preferable previous experience in any of the above fields
Preferable familiarity with NEC and BICSI standards for fire and data cabling
Considerable knowledge of access control and video surveillance and monitoring hardware and software is a plus
