Responsibilities
Ability to review blueprints and drawings to determine set-up procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions. Must be able to set-up jobs by loading programs, select fixtures, part holders, and tooling to machine parts to specifications
Familiarity with CNC machine controls and their functions (adjusting tool offset, indicating fixtures or parts, change tools and following along with the part program)
Ability to monitor tools and attachments to ensure parts are properly cooled and lubricated
Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances
Basic mathematic skills include, but are not limited to, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra for calculating material fabrication
Must be capable of using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, dial bores, thread gauges, and basic measuring tools
Full compliance with the Company’s DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program
Regular and predictable attendance
