You are the go-to subject matter expert for all things packaging
You identify and solve key opportunities through packaging modifications
You developed a Packaging Supplier Evaluation process that sets clear standards and guidelines
You lead sustained improvements in packaging performance by setting and achieving targets
You have built testing and validation programs to ensure compliance, consistency, and effectiveness across existing products
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or packaging engineering
5+ years of experience in industrial or consumer packaging
Preferred
Food and beverage manufacturing experience
Direct experience managing packaging life cycle
Knowledge and understanding of packaging design validation standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.)
Demonstrable proficiency in 3D CAD software
Direct experience implementing focused improvement tools (i.e. 6 sigma, 5S, DMAIC, Kaizen)
Experience validating and managing Supplier network
