Responsibilities

Contractor shall assist in the execution of Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, and Transition Activities and other Emergency Response day-to-day activities
Provide support for response plans maintenance in Plans Development Processes including core courses of action, coming up with assumptions, facts, and criteria for evaluating courses of actions
Update existing preparedness, and development of new plans as needed
Provide support for report writing and data collection
Develop Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, Transition Activities along with Plans Development and maintenance for emergency response

Required

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Junior (BA/BS, with 4+ years' experience, or 7+ years work experience in Emergency Planning) in an Emergency Operations Center environment
Knowledge of Comprehensive Preparedness Guide (CPG) 101 - Developing and Maintaining Emergency Operations Plans
Knowledge of CPG 201 - Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) and Stakeholder Preparedness Review (SPR)
Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Mail)
Ability to effectively communicate needs at all briefings to assist with operational strategy
Ability to identify gaps in existing resources
Ability to multitask in emergency situations
Ability to be flexible with a strong sense of urgency
Interpersonal communication: telephone, email, and business etiquette
Strong proofreading skill and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
