Responsibilities
Develop and lead global credit risk strategies for Rippling's EOR & COR products, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory standards
Mitigate wage liability risk by implementing strategies to meet payroll obligations
Establish and enforce credit risk policies and frameworks to support business growth while effectively managing risk
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design and integrate credit risk management systems and tools
Continuously monitor and analyze the EOR & COR credit portfolio's performance, identifying trends and emerging risks
Implement automated credit risk decisioning tools to boost efficiency and reduce losses
Work closely with Business Development, Finance, and Operations teams to support new product initiatives and market expansion
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in credit risk management
Maintain a strong operational control environment to ensure compliance and minimize potential risks
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of proven experience in developing and executing credit risk and product strategies for commercial EOR or COR products at a major financial institution or in a high-growth fintech environment, including an understanding of wage liability risk and mitigation strategies in an EOR context
Proficiency in data analysis with strong analytical skills
Strong collaboration skills with a history of working with Product and Engineering teams
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with SQL or Python is a plus
MBA or master's degree preferred, especially in a relevant field such as data analytics, engineering, or statistics
Prior experience with risk decisioning engines such as Datavisor
Experience partnering with Product or Engineering teams to build new risk management decision engines and features
