Responsibilities
Manage personal renewal portfolio
Review and actively quote/negotiate/monitor policies in portfolio to ensure compliance with Regional and Group Commercial Underwriting standards and guidelines
Ensure EH technical underwriting standards are upheld to ensure long-term profitability and quality of customer portfolio
Manage, develop and maintain key broker and customer relationships
Identify cross- and up-selling opportunities within existing portfolio
Provide New Business Broker Managers commercial underwriting assistance and guidance
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met. For instance:
Risk Underwriting to maximize approvals for existing policyholders
XOL/Non-Can team to discuss existing insureds who may have graduated to non-can solution (Hybrid/Full)
Provide Strategic Broker support
Take ownership of special projects as assigned throughout the year
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related field
4-7 trade credit commercial underwriting or sales experience
Ability to profitably retain policyholders and build long-term relationships
Ability to build strong relationships with broker producers located in region which results in strong renewal business production
Expert knowledge of Compass, Copernicus and IRP
Proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office
Project management skills: Planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects while ensuring on-time completion and within scope
Interpersonal skills: Partner with cross functional A-Z teams
Preferred
Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies
Enthusiastic about learning and integrating AI into everyday business processes
