Responsibilities

Design and deliver large-scale digital experiences that are intuitive and visually refined

Contribute across the full spectrum of the digital lifecycle, including user research, interface design, accessibility compliance, rapid prototyping, and front-end development

Work closely with product managers and government leadership to understand mission goals and user requirements

Combine UX thinking with strong engineering practices to ensure every solution is user-centered, compliant, and aligned with national security objectives

Required

6+ years of experience with front-end development

Experience developing high-quality front-end applications using Vue.js, React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS or SCSS

Knowledge of WCAG 2.x, Section 508 compliance, responsive design, and front-end best practices in secure government environments

Ability to work independently on multiple projects across locations and charge codes while managing expectations and delivering polished, high-quality results

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED

Preferred

Experience with AWS services such as S3+ CloudFront, Amplify, Lambda, or API Gateway, TypeScript, animation libraries such as GSAP or Framer Motion, or design system development

Knowledge of secure API integration, Agile workflows, and government digital service standards

Ability to collaborate with government leadership to refine requirements, translate mission needs into UX-focused solutions, and influence design-centered decisions

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, UX, Design, or a related field

UX or UI Certification such as NN/g or HFI Certification

Accessibility Certification such as IAAP CPACC or CPWA Certification

Front-End Development Certification such as W3C, CIW, or AWS Certification
