The Information Governance Intern supports the Information Governance Department by facilitating key functions in the day-to-day operations, helping to manage the Firm’s client and business administrative records securely.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates a solid understanding of all the Firm’s records and information governance policies and procedures
Assists with the maintenance and analysis of the records management system to support the data integrity of the Firm’s hardcopy file inventory
Assist with entering and creating hardcopy file inventory in the records management system
Prepares hardcopy files for off-site archiving and submits service requests
Assists with the Firm’s digital file conversion process, including file review, preparation, scanning and importing into the document management system
Assists with department projects and initiatives, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled full-time, in a 4-year university/college
Must be well-organized with strong attention to detail
Proficient in basic computer applications including Windows XP and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and seek clarification when needed
Must have a positive attitude and be results-oriented, dependable, adhere to established time commitments and demonstrate strong customer service attributes
The ability to lift 50lbs
