Engineering Technician Optics
MACOM designs and manufactures semiconductor products for various applications and is headquartered in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Engineering Technician - Optics will validate electronic chips and support the senior validation engineer while working independently on projects.

Responsibilities
Electronic Process Technician responsible for validating electronic chips based on data sheet specifications
Responsibilities include supporting senior validation engineer, but primarily capable of working independently on projects, conduct experiments, characterize parts over voltage, temperature and make continuous improvements in testing time and quality
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in engineering or Equivalent with 5 or more years of experience in semiconductor device testing
Specific experience with lab equipment
Flexible working style with the ability to multitask
Attention to detail, strong documentation and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
Strong problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work within schedule constraints
Good communication, organization and documentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build long lasting partnerships
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
