Rausch Sturm LLP is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to join their Accounting Team. The role involves documenting payments and providing customer service related to payments, as well as performing various reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities

Reviews and reconciles daily payments received
Generates and reviews payment posting reports
Researches and corrects account discrepancies
Reconciles trust account ledgers
Investigates and resolves misapplied payments
Assists the Controller and CFO with account level balance reconciliations
Assists the Controller and CFO with cash disbursement and reporting
Participates in other activities as assigned

Qualification

Microsoft ExcelAnalytical skillsProcess optimizationInterpersonal skillsCollaboration

Required

Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Have the ability to optimize work processes in a fast paced-environment
Have strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to collaborate
Must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in either Accounting or Finance
Two or more years of related experience
