Obsidian Entertainment is looking for a QA Analyst Intern to join their Obsidian University Internship Program. The intern will help test game features, log bug reports, and collaborate with team members to support game development.

Responsibilities

Test game features and content to ensure the final product matches the intended design
Log clear and detailed bug reports, verify fixes, and help maintain the bug database
Collaborate with other team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues
Develop, update, and execute test plans to track testing and development progress
Collect data, contribute in strike team meetings, and share feedback to support game development

Qualification

Game testing experienceAttention to detailVerbal communicationWritten communicationTeam collaboration

Required

Strong attention to detail, including the ability to analyze complex game systems and mechanics
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred

An unquenchable thirst for learning
Previous experience testing games or other software
Experience creating game mods, participating in game jams, or doing any other hobbyist game development
Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes
