Responsibilities
Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for monitoring product quality
Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are stationed at the end of production lines where they inspect various pieces of meat for adherence to specifications
Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for knowing the product specifications for the line they are working on and filling out an audit report form
Fabrication Quality Assurance Technicians must also follow and help enforce plant Good Manufacturing Procedures and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures
Other Fabrication Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities include metal detector auditing and testing trim for E.Coli, via N60 sampling
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
A knowledge of HACCP Process (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
Experience with email communications
Microsoft Office (Excel)
Ability to withstand extreme hot/cold environments
Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S
Preferred
Beef products knowledge is preferred
