Responsibilities

Maintaining a safe, quality conscious and cost-effective operation

Leading, training, evaluating, and scheduling work for teammates throughout the department holding regular toolbox meetings to discuss performance against targets, problems, and the day's work schedule

Planning and driving the completion of training and development of assigned personnel in support of achieving objectives, including attaining the necessary degree of cross-training

Driving Quality Improvements Initiatives including the promotion and achievement of continuous improvement of cost and lead-time reduction

Ensuring effective team communication to maintain dedication to objectives and hold meetings

Implementing lean manufacturing strategies into assigned area(s) through kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 6 S
