Responsibilities

Monitors the fuel processing system and operates boilers, turbines, and other steam plant equipment throughout the shift

Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental permits, and operational procedures

Approve equipment removal for maintenance, issue safety permits, and oversee clearance processes

Lead and train shift personnel to maintain a skilled, flexible, and safety-conscious workforce

Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities

Respond to emergencies, directing necessary actions to maintain safe operations

Maintain active state and site-required licenses and certifications

Participate in projects to improve plant performance and efficiency
