They are seeking a Senior Facility Services Technician who will perform and direct maintenance, construction, and repair activities while ensuring efficient operations of the facilities.

Responsibilities

Assures complete and proper logging of files, records and required cost computation of time spent, materials and supplies used for each completed requisition or work order

Organizes and maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies. Recommends purchases for new equipment

Assists in the development and implementation of programs to maintain the physical plant, grounds and equipment of the facilities through effective use of personnel

Assigns individual tasks, requisitions supplies and equipment and oversees work of contractors. Trains and guides technicians in unfamiliar tasks

Performs maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations. Takes lead in challenging group projects

Assists in all areas of specialty as needed

Local travel required

Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested

Performs other duties as assigned
