Responsibilities
Provide overall administrative support to the Office of Public Health Services (PHS)
Assist in everyday operations and management of five public health bureaus: Behavioral Health, Disease Prevention and Management, Environmental Health, Family Health, and School Health and Support
Scheduling meetings, preparing communication and reports, and working on special assignments, including clinical research
Responsible for performing complex administrative tasks, having routine contact with staff, state and local officials, elected officials, and the general public
Must be able to work independently, possess strong analytical and written skills, and manage and direct projects
Provide guidance to the public and department staff in interpreting policies and procedures in fulfilling the mission of the Department of Health
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Two years in administrative or professional work
Must be able to work independently
