Mid LevelAlexander Technology Group is seeking a SOC 2 Compliance Specialist to serve as the primary advisor for SOC 2 readiness and compliance. This role involves guiding IT leadership and business teams to ensure systems and processes are audit-ready, identifying compliance gaps, and supporting the implementation of necessary controls and documentation.

Responsibilities
Advise on SOC 2 readiness, gap assessments, and related regulatory frameworks
Support implementation of controls, remediation plans, and process improvements
Lead or assist with SOC readiness efforts, including risk assessments, evidence collection, and audit coordination
Develop compliance documentation, training, and SOPs
Prepare leadership for SOC audits and liaise with external auditors
Monitor regulatory changes and report compliance status and risks to IT leadership
Qualification
Required
Experience with SOC 2 readiness, compliance consulting, or audit preparation
Strong knowledge of IT controls, risk management, and regulatory standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Preferred
Certifications (CISA, CISSP) or hands-on SOC 2 implementation experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and cloud environments a plus
