New Grad, Entry LevelAdamsPlace is a leader in senior care, celebrating its 50-year anniversary. The Unit Clerk is responsible for communication at the rehab nursing station, assisting patients and families with appointments, and maintaining organization at the station.

Responsibilities
Responsible for communication at the rehab nursing station with families, nurses and other allied health individuals by phone, email, or fax
Responsible for assisting patients and/or families in setting up follow up outpatient appointments and transportation to and from appointments
Responsible for keeping the station organized and tidy throughout the day
Maintains a positive and friendly attitude while assisting families, patients, and partners who approach the area needing assistance
Answer the telephone and relay messages
Electronic Health Record documentation as indicated, including but not limited to order entry and vital signs
Maintain a schedule of patients' appointments and transportation, assisting with arrangements as needed
Processing of laboratory, x-ray and/or special tests and see that reports are received
Maintain the inventory of paper and desk supplies
Ensures scanning of appropriate documents upon discharge of the patient
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent
Must be organized and capable of keeping the station clean and tidy
Must present a professional appearance
Able to work with people and various departments, including vendors
Knowledgeable in using calculator and computer
Works independently with little or no supervision
Able to see, hear, and communicate adequately to complete all job duties and responsibilities
Able to be on feet standing or walking 8 hours per day
Able to carry out fine motor skills and manual dexterity
Able to bend stoop, squat, and lift without restrictions
