Responsibilities
Informs internal design methodologies and processes and translates the UX strategy into tactical direction for design team members
Ensures high-level UX company standards are consistently applied across projects; seeks to evolve design methodologies and processes with changing industry trends, tools, and technologies
Facilitates the collaboration of team members with cross-functional partners as well as productive, two-way dialogue between the design team and technology partners
Creates and/or leads the creation of standard operating procedures and objectives and key results to be consistent across UX designs, products, and team deliverables
Controls project risks by analyzing and identifying trigger events, establishing contingency plans, and recommending ways to mitigate future risks
Resolves escalated design problems at the project or product level
Leads a team in support of achieving the company’s mission
Manages performance and fosters an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
8 years of experience in UX design, product management, or related area
3 years of experience leading project or technical teams with or without formal direct report responsibility; this includes experience providing technical direction, thought leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
Experience leading a large-scale team/project within an Agile environment
