Responsibilities
Assist in designing and implementing Agentic AI workflows for manufacturing optimization
Develop and validate machine learning models for predictive analytics and process improvement
Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and feature engineering on large-scale manufacturing datasets
Collaborate with engineers and data analysts to integrate models into production environments
Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
Explore emerging AI techniques and propose innovative applications for manufacturing challenges
Qualification
Required
Strong foundation in data science and machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May/June through August/September
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
Expected graduation in fall 2026 or later

Understanding of AI concepts, including reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
