Responsibilities

Installation of Material Handling Systems
Installation of safety devices
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, based on engineered drawings and layouts
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Ensure adherence to appropriate industry regional standards of installation and safety equipment guidelines
Comply with all relevant safety standards
Ensure installation meets established processes, guidelines, regulations and quality standards
Complete assigned tasks within the scheduled time and as assigned by direct supervisor
Provision of direction, training, support, and feedback to team
Support of commissioning and testing
Responsible for provision of daily verbal and weekly reports to direct supervisor
Train and guide contractor on Knapp’s standards
Lead and instruct teams to complete work in schedule and quality
Maintain accurate records of work

Required

Minimum 2 years of practical experience and knowledge in electrical systems or maintenance within automation industry
Advanced knowledge in industrial electrical installations
Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings and schematics
Leadership and communication skills
Authorization to work in the U.S
Passport or ability to obtain passport
Professional office etiquette is required at all times
Travel required 100%
Overtime as required by work
Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm's length, and lifting 50-100 pounds
