Senior Strategist, Integrated Marketing & Performance Strategy (Freelance)

They are seeking a Senior Strategist for Integrated Marketing & Performance Strategy to synthesize customer survey data into actionable insights and develop performance marketing strategies that enhance customer acquisition and align agency teams.

Responsibilities
Serve as survey analyst, working with raw data and synthesizing the findings into clear readouts
Develop performance marketing strategies, advising internal teams and stakeholders on how to set KPIs, design tests/optimizations, and achieve business outcomes accordingly
Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, media, and analytics teams to ensure strategic alignment across deliverables
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging consumer behaviors to inform strategy development
Proactively identify gaps + opportunities across creative, media and experience touchpoints by analyzing data and funnel metrics; develop and test new methodologies, technologies, or approaches to find potential conversion optimizations
Lead and manage our day-to-day testing and optimization program, with a focus on digital acquisition across paid and owned channels
Lead key client conversations and discussions related to testing priorities, goals and impact
Elevate and complement the work of our Brand and Experience Strategists, lending a data/performance POV to brand briefs (example: landing page redesign, digital campaign assets)
Partner with Media (display and search), Data and Creative heads to ensure we are continuously applying full funnel best practices to our work
Support the growth and vision of Razorfish Strategy by contributing to department leadership, thought leadership, and mentoring junior team members
Communicate results and insights to internal and client stakeholders, actively applying those to future tests and experiments
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience with digital channels and performance marketing, as a guide
Passionate about finding insights and challenging the status quo; obsession for deep dives into the business (the numbers), understanding how it works and makes money
Experience with audience targeting, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), conversion rate optimization, A/B testing
Proven ability to design and deliver high-impact presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides)
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting insight-driven creative or strategic briefs that inspire creative teams and align with business goals
Hands-on experience with primary research—designing studies, analyzing data, and translating findings into insights
Confident client-facing presence; comfortable leading discussions and presenting work to senior stakeholders
Proficiency in working with large raw data sets in Microsoft Excel to develop customer insights for presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint
