Pharmacy Intern - Poison Center
UPMC Presbyterian is hiring a Pharmacy Intern to join the Poison Center. The Pharmacy Intern will support the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients, gaining hands-on experience and developing operational and clinical skills in the field of pharmacy.

Responsibilities
Answering toxicology calls and giving recommendations to callers under the guidance of a specialized toxicology nurse or pharmacist
Assists the pharmacist with medication review, including but not limited to monitoring allergies and evaluating drug interactions
Where applicable, complete clinical workload documentation (manual or electronic) by the end of each scheduled shift in accordance with Department procedures

Good standing in an accredited School of Pharmacy, entering P1 year or above, and applied for intern license within 90 days of hire
