Responsibilities

Managing administrative files and confidential databases (including Workday)
Handling phone calls, directing inquiries, and providing accurate information
Processing incoming mail and routing documents
Logging and processing faculty and student forms
Coordinating logistics for departmental events
Processing payment requests and tracking financial transactions
Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and taking detailed minutes
Monitoring accounts and providing general administrative support
Maintaining and updating department websites
Creating engaging communication and marketing materials for events

Required

Three (3) years of administrative experience which included front desk reception, records management, event management/coordination and basic technical accounting/bookkeeping responsibility. (Experience must be clearly documented in the 'Work History' section of your application. 'See Resume' will not be accepted.)
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to three (3) years. (TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE ATTACHED FOR EDUCATIONAL CREDIT.)

Preferred

Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software (i.e. Word and Excel)
Daily interaction with students, staff and faculty require this position to possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to establish rapport with people of diverse backgrounds
Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions independently and provide on-the-spot answers to administrative questions that arise
Must have excellent judgment and discretion and be able to work confidentially with sensitive and protected information
Workday experience
