Sr. Portfolio Administrator
The Colorado Department of Revenue is dedicated to managing the public's funds and ensuring accountability. The Sr. Portfolio Administrator oversees operations and compliance for investment programs, ensuring strong financial performance while advancing community benefit goals.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Coordinate PSFIB meetings, including agenda development, preparation of materials, meeting minutes, and participation by guest presenters
Serve as the primary point of contact with investment consultants, fund managers, custodians, and legal counsel
Lead procurement, contracting, and onboarding processes for investment managers and service providers
Oversee the operational setup and ongoing administration of the Community Investment Portfolio and the Educator First Home Ownership Program
Develop and maintain systems for investment performance tracking, reporting, and compliance monitoring
Ensure investment strategies align with programmatic objectives, such as expanding access to affordable housing for educators
Monitor and report portfolio performance, including returns, gains and losses, distributions, and compliance with statutory requirements
Manage the PSFIB operating budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability
Review and approve manager and vendor invoices to ensure compliance with contracts and budgetary limits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting, Political Science or a closely related field AND Three (3) years of experience in investment operations, portfolio administration, public sector finance, or investment banking
A combination of related education and relevant professional experience must equal to seven (7) years

Preferred

Skills and experience in negotiating, delegating, leadership, superior client service and relationship management skills required
