Responsibilities

Build, optimize, and manage cloud-native systems such as Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources

Document, maintain, improve, and validate work products

Participate in agile development process as part of a scrum team including planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement

Required

Five or more years' experience with large-scale infrastructure systems in a production environment

Proficiency with modern programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Go, C#, Java, or others

Proficiency with Kubernetes (cluster lifecycle, networking, upgrades, helm charts) and containerization technologies such as Docker

Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform

Proficiency with cloud services and configuration management tools such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

Experience working in an Agile development process

Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position

Preferred

Proficiency in Azure pipelines, cloud services, and management tools

Strong understanding of network architecture and security

Experience optimizing performance and scalability in infrastructure systems

Experience with service discovery and load-balancing technologies

Experience with service mesh technologies

Experience with GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)

Experience in observability and telemetry in cloud applications (logging, metrics, tracing)

Experience operating with DevSecOps CI/CD automation environments

Experience with backup and disaster recovery in a cloud environment

Experience in cloud-native application development, architectural patterns, and best practices with the ability to review and provide feedback on others' designs

Experience in an organization using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

An understanding of Process Control or Distributed Control Systems

Ability to travel occasionally (domestically)
