Business Development Manager, Pharma
OptimizeRx is a digital health company that provides communications solutions for life science companies, physicians, and patients. As the Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to drive top of funnel whitespace growth for the commercial organization through prospecting, stakeholder meeting set-up and facilitation, top-of-funnel awareness, and pipeline acceleration.

Responsibilities
Think strategically to plan and prioritize your target accounts by identifying pharmaceutical brands in pre-launch or post-launch commercial lifecycles as well as the agencies that support them by leveraging tools such as ZoomInfo and Media Radar
Research target companies to identify relevant prospects using tools such as: ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and MediaRadar with the goal of developing new business relationships creating a pipeline of targeted and qualified sales prospects
Emphasis on outbound cold calling, emailing, networking and inbound lead follow-up averaging 40 outbound messages per day with a goal of scheduling 7 qualified meetings per month
Identify client’s needs, including budget, buyer roles, decision making process, timelines, and contracts and communicate this with internal partners prior to stakeholder meetings
Set and ensure completion of high-quality stakeholder meetings, with the prospect and our sales team, that progress to the sales pipeline
Work closely with the Director of Business Development to efficiently complete above tasks: research accounts, identify targets, actively prospect, and complete stakeholder meetings - in a timely manner
Think critically and collaborate with teammates and leadership to create, experiment and build best practices & playbooks for prospect engagement and meeting conversion
Coordinate with marketing leadership to ensure targets/metrics are being met or exceeded
Partner with sales to create cohesiveness and drive strong alignment in targeting prospects
Maintain all prospecting and account activity in HubSpot CRM
Under mentorship from the Director of Business Development, you will complete onboarding steps at pace of 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days and participate in weekly 1:1 meetings to review account strategies and overall progress
Other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who possesses excellent verbal skills to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally along with writing skills to be able to write clearly and succinctly, to craft tailored messages that resonate with senior level prospects
Comfortable with email, on camera, and the phone as you connect with potential customers across multiple platforms and internal stakeholders
Highly effective organizational skills to implement a variety of programs
Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
Ability to travel
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
Experience in B2B business development or sales, with healthcare or pharma preferred
