Hilton is looking for a temporary Engineer to join their team at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza. The role involves performing engineering duties throughout the hotel, including maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the functionality of the facility.

Responsibilities

Assists Engineers and trains with Engineers/trade mechanics to learn to maintain the physical functionality of the facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas

Performs a variety of repair and maintenance and cleaning tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry

Inspects guestrooms, public space and heart-of-the-house for needed and preventive maintenance

Maintains detailed record-keeping of all work orders and completed assignments. Performs additional office-related work (i.e. receives deliveries, runs errands for parts, etc.)
