Responsibilities
Designs, develops and verifies data acquisition and sensor interface circuits, primarily for the high temperature environment in downhole Oil & Gas wells
Develop state-of-art electronics designs for operation in the high temperature downhole environment
Work with the team in the Electrical Engineering department as well as the other Engineering departments to help shape the overall design of the equipment and continue to develop and improve
Qualification
Required
BS Electrical Engineering
Detailed knowledge and experience with sensor application and interfacing
Detailed knowledge and experience with front end signal conditioning and amplification
Detailed knowledge and experience with selection and qualification of state-of-the-art A to D converters
Detailed knowledge and experience with micro-controller and DSP applications
Detailed knowledge and experience with high speed digital interfacing
Detailed knowledge and experience with programmable Gate Arrays
Detailed knowledge and experience with DRAM and Flash memory
Detailed knowledge and experience with DC/DC Switching Converters
Detailed knowledge and experience with higher power analog amplification circuits (up to 100 watts)
Detailed knowledge and experience with brushless DC motor control
Detailed knowledge and experience with power efficient solenoid actuation methods
Must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident
Preferred
10 -15 years of experience preferred
