The Talent and Development Manager will be responsible for acquiring top talent and overseeing the corporate training strategy to ensure employee development and effective hiring processes.

Responsibilities

Acquire top talent to meet the company’s current and future needs and oversee the corporate training strategy

Create, maintain, and enforce a structured hiring process to be completed by all hiring managers

Provide written, oral, and web-based training resources to help hiring managers complete the hiring process

Lead the utilization of applicant tracking software system, training supervisors on how to use the software, and maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data

Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting

Build networks to find qualified passive candidates

Share marketing & promotional materials to recruit for the Ag Experience program

Develop the overall structure of the Ag Experience program, including communications to participants and coordination of summer activities

Advise and recommend training courses and topics for continued employee development

Review and propose off-the-shelf course content to be integrated into the LMS
