Responsibilities

Build strong, collaborative relationships across internal stakeholders—both domestic and international—to ensure alignment on capacity planning, budgeting, service performance, and operating model design
Lead and guide onshore/offshore work transitions, anticipating shifting business needs and ensuring teams remain balanced, efficient, and capable of meeting performance expectations
Advance a holistic operational management approach that emphasizes consistent execution, streamlined processes, and continuous improvement in daily operations
Sponsor and oversee major strategic initiatives, including project delegation, business case development, and prioritization of operational enhancements
Strengthen risk management practices by ensuring leaders understand and uphold control requirements, and by promoting proactive risk mitigation
Partner with leadership to define, implement, and monitor KPIs, ensuring clarity of expectations and accountability across teams
Identify and resolve operational issues that impact clients, reduce risk exposure, and reinforce control disciplines
Direct leaders in conducting effective capacity planning, resource forecasting, and cost analysis to support organizational needs and long-term service strategy
Provide direction and oversight for a large global organization across a diverse set of operational teams
Communicate a clear vision for the service organization, aligning leaders and teams to shared goals and performance expectations
Develop talent strategies that strengthen bench strength, optimize team performance, and support ongoing execution of operational and strategic initiatives
Promote professional growth among leaders and ensure development opportunities extend throughout the broader team

Required

Bachelor's degree required; 15+ years of experience within the financial services industry
At least 10 years leading operational, service-oriented teams—including leadership of leaders—through significant transformation and growth
Proven track record in overseeing large-scale initiatives, with demonstrated ownership of business requirements and solution delivery
Expertise in: Designing efficient operational structures and processes
Service and organizational frameworks, financial and operational management
Budgeting, financial reporting, and pro-forma development
IT infrastructure fundamentals
Large-scale capacity planning and budget oversight
Strong history of collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve functionality, efficiency, and revenue outcomes
Familiarity with financial and retirement plan systems (401(k), 529, etc.) and related operational processes
Ability to evaluate solution trade-offs and determine optimal paths forward
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Preferred

Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies beneficial but not required
