Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices within the Aladdin ecosystem
Implement RESTful APIs, integrate with distributed systems, and ensure high availability and performance
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following SOLID principles and best practices
Participate in code reviews, unit/integration testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
Work with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to system reliability and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 11 or higher) and object-oriented programming concepts
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and microservices architecture
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architecture, or messaging systems
Familiarity with Java testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
Interest in financial services and investment technology
