Responsibilities

Pull EOBs from websites, billing systems, internal drives, etc. as needed to identify cash to be posted to appropriate payer

Knowledgeable on reading and understanding EOBs including identifying and adjusting copay amounts to proper payers

Create cash batch in Point Click Care (PCC)

Posts payments (from all sources except Private Pay) to A/R system

Cross-validates payments posted by counterpart (cash batch posting detail to record of receipt)

Verifies all cash batches are posted to AR and balanced daily

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Long term care experienceCash applications knowledgeAnalytical skillsOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsExcel knowledgeWord knowledgePCC system exposure

Required

High school diploma (or GED)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and communication skills

Basic understanding of Excel and Word

Preferred

Strong background in long term care payer types

Basic knowledge of cash applications and procedures

Exposure to PCC system
