Responsibilities
Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components
Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary
Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies
Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Maintain Quality documentation
Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of electronic part inspection experience
Proficient experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes)
Demonstrated proficiency in reading basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs
Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc
NOTE - Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts
All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check
Preferred
IPC-J-STD 610, 620 or 001
Ability to recognize the importance of processes and procedures and follow accordingly
Ability to remain flexible and responsive in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands
Effectively evaluate workload and manage competing priorities and deadlines
Proactively recognize challenges or risks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
