0+ years expExpress Employment International is seeking a Franchise Accountant I, responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of monthly Statements of Accounts for franchise partners. This role involves providing support to franchises, preparing reports, and developing knowledge of franchise accounting processes.

Responsibilities
Preparation and payment of the commission statements for US, Canada and ANZ offices
Balancing payroll weekly, preparing reconciliations on GL accounts and assisting other team members with weekly duties
Perform various functions related to servicing the Franchisees as needed or required. Functions may include preparing rundowns, resale reviews, WOTC error report, emails and phone calls
Provide support to current and former Franchisees concerning the Commission & Reserve statements
Invoice and collect the funds from Founder offices for various expenses paid on their behalf and process new Franchisee Advertising reimbursements
Assist other departments as needed i.e., Accounts Receivable and Workers’ Comp
Qualification
Required
0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Working knowledge of general office procedures
Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, procedures, codes, and classifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Windows-based computer systems
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to learn franchise accounting processes under guidance
Preferred
Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent education preferred
Internship or related experience a plus
