Responsibilities

Conducts hardware inspection, testing, verification and validation
Implements hardware development and maintenance processes and methods
Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives
Reviews hardware design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements
Reviews include applicable specifications, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies
Performs or directs verification of hardware capabilities allocations, traceability, and testability
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance
AS9100 auditing experience and/or auditor training
Knowledge of hardware development methods and systems engineering practices
Must have a solid understanding of nonconformance resolution and corrective action implementation including experience developing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Familiarity with Requirements Derivation, Traceability, and Management; DOORS or Equivalent Tool Experience and familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and previous experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical engineering drawings and strong understanding of industry specifications/standards for inspecting electronic and mechanical assemblies

Preferred

Experience supporting Agile and/or DevOps projects
Experience/certification inspecting to IPC-A-610 class 3 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
Experience/certification inspecting to IPC-J-STD-001
Understanding of GD&T practices
Experience in Cost Account Management
Experience in Supplier/Subcontracts Management
Experience with CAMEO Modeler or similar modeling tool
Experience in Risk Mitigation
