This role involves leading initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and throughput, while collaborating with various teams to implement improvements and develop automation solutions.

Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies, eliminate safety risks, and increase productivity
Develop automated processes, equipment, and PLC controls to improve quality and throughput
Design and improve tools, fixtures, and process aids
Create 2D and 3D drawings, SOPs, manuals, and maintenance schedules for production and maintenance teams
Assist with equipment installation, start-up, and qualification
Support FMEAs, PPAPs, and other quality documentation
Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to implement improvements, share best practices, and promote a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience driving and leading process improvement initiatives
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical documents, catalogs, and data sheets
Experience writing reports, documentation, and communicating with internal teams, vendors, and customers
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement
Strong project and task management skills—planning, prioritizing, organizing, and decision-making
Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and the ability to learn ERP systems
A proactive, improvement-minded mindset and ability to influence teams
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Automation Engineering
Preferred
Experience with automation PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred)
