Research Specialist II
The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research Specialist II to support the operations of the Central Imaging Lab (CIL). This role is critical in managing imaging data, ensuring compliance with protocols, and maintaining effective communication across research partners and committees.
Education
Responsibilities
Central Imaging Lab (CIL) Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the CIL, including administrative, fiscal, and protocol management
Coordinate and organize team meetings, ensuring efficient communication and documentation
Image Processing & Data Integrity
De-identify imaging data to protect patient privacy and ensure compliance with research standards
Archive and maintain all images provided to the CIL for accurate record-keeping and future research use
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact between the CIL and external partners, including Web-DCU, Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC), and the Steering Committee
Provide timely updates, reports, and communication to ensure alignment across stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
At least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired
