Equipment Technician
Arkansas Children's is a healthcare provider dedicated to creating a tobacco-free workplace. The Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining equipment and the work area, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities
Decontaminates, cleans, and reprocesses equipment
Assists with maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly patient/department environment which is in compliance with infection control, safety, OSHA, and other regulatory processes
Practices optimal infection control processes both in patient contact and equipment cleaning/maintenance
Ensures that supplies, equipment and instrumentation are available
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and collaborate with HTM
Completes special assignments within designated time frames
Performs other duties as assigned
